Born to Parents of Italian and Slovak descent in Binghamton, NY, Lynn Capani-Czebiniak has been honoured with awards and recognition for her art and writing since high school. Her paintings and drawings can be found in private collections throughout the United States and Europe as well as in an ongoing space at Gallery 41 in Owego, NY. Her vibrant renderings of seemingly channeled work are born from iridescent dreams, scents that evoke emotion, and the lilting cries of the violin. From animal totems, to elemental magic, to lushly blooming flowers, to mighty dragons, to the richness of the goddess, her work conjures the longing for a place we do not recall, yet yearn to return.
Lynn lives in the upstate NYS area of Ithaca with her chickens, fish, dog, compost worms, gardens, and woods.
